가장 최적화된 형상을 찾기 위해 여러가지 모양으로 설계를 시작하였습니다. 일부 디자인은 프로토 타입으로도 만들어 실험을 지속했습니다. 하지만, 선수들에게 오랫동안 사랑 받기 위해서는 아직 부족하다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 더불어 슬레지 하키선수들의 체형과 좌우 밸런스를 충족시키는 것은 매우 어려웠습니다.

그래서 우리는 모든것을 원점에서 다시 고찰하기 위해서 지난 몇년간 고민했던 모든 설계 옵션들을 뒤로 하고 다시 시작했습니다. 그리고, 이렇게 얻은 결과를 우리의 여정을 공유합니다.

how we optimized a frame

IPC RULE BOOK에서 규정한 조건들을 수렴함과 동시에 최적의 디자인을 하기 위해 설계 가능한 최대 면적인 직사각형에서부터 시작했다.

SLED에 앉았을때 무게중심은 엉덩이보다 앞쪽에 위치한다. 따라서, 엉덩이 바로 밑부분인 A와 드리블을 해야하는 무릎 아래인  B는 필요없는 공간임.

MAIN FRAME과 FOOT SUPPORT을 고정하기 위해 E1, E2에 SHAFT를 삽입하여 체결하였고, TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION과 TRUSS STRUCTURE 을 통하여 D를 삭제 하였다.

하나의 SLED에는 MAIN FRAME과 FOOT SUPPORT를 안정적으로 고정하기 위해 SHAFT를 2개를 사용하는데

선수들은 본인의 BALANCE에 맞도록 좌우로 조정이 가능하고 BOLT를 조절하여 체결함.

SHAFT의 길이는 총 4가지이며 FOOT SUPPORT의 사이즈에 따라 교체가 가능함.

SHAFT의 양끝에는 FRONT FRAME을 고정하는 PIPE SADDLE이 있음.

Why we do Vacuum Heat Treatment?

The air we breathe contains a number of elements that can react with metals under the proper conditions. Moisture, oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen are present in significant amounts in our atmosphere. Each can react to varying degrees with many different metals. While many of these reactions occur to only a small extent at room temperature, they are often greatly accelerated in the presence of heat. Consider the example of a piece of polished metal held over a heat source. It will eventually turn blue or black as the elements in the atmosphere react with the hot metal. We try to minimize the extent of these reactions during heat treating. The reactions cause changes in the surface properties of the metal that may result in a heat treated component with a surface(edge) that is much harder than the rest of the component. To minimize these undesirable reactions, the source of the reactive elements, air, must be eliminated from the heat treating environment.
