To make best sled

2016년부터 세상에서 가장 최적화된 썰매의 형상을 찾기 위해서 여러가지 디자인으로 설계를 시작하였습니다. 일부 디자인은 프로토 타입으로 만들어 실험을 지속했지만, 각각의 슬레지 하키선수들의 체형과 좌우 밸런스를 충족시키는 것은 매우 어려웠습니다.

그래서 우리는 모든것을 원점에서 다시 고찰하기 위해서 지난 몇년간 고민했던 설계 옵션들을 뒤로 하고 다시 시작했습니다.

그리고, S-103이 탄생했습니다.

how we optimized a frame

IPC RULE BOOK에서 규정한 조건들을 수렴함과 동시에 최적의 디자인을 하기 위해 설계 가능한 최대 면적인 직사각형에서부터 시작했다.

  1. SLED에 앉았을때 무게중심은 엉덩이보다 앞쪽에 위치하기 때문에, 엉덩이 바로 밑부분인 A는 필요 없는 공간이며, 드리블을 위한 공간인 B도 디자인 허용 공간에서 제외함.
  2. 2.MAIN FRAME과 FOOT SUPPORT을 연결하기 위해 E1, E2에 SHAFT를 삽입하여 체결함.
  3. TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION과 TRUSS STRUCTURE을 활용하여 D를 삭제한 최종 디자인에 이르렀다.

MAIN FRAME과 FOOT SUPPORT사이는 2개의 SHAFT를 사용하여 안정적으로 연결하였다.

  1. 선수 본인의 BALANCE에 맞도록 좌우 미세 조정이 가능함.
  2. FOOT SUPPORT의 크기에 따라 SHAFT의 길이는 총 4가지임.
  3. SHAFT의 양끝에는 FRONT FRAME을 고정하는 PIPE SADDLE이 있음.

BUCKET holder

선수마다 선호하는 BUCKET의 높이와 각도가 다르기 때문에 BUCKET HOLDER를 교체가 용이해야 한다.

  1.  3가지의 다른 높이(최대 빙면에서 200mm)
  2. 앞 뒤 다른 높이의 HOLDER를 장착하여 각도 조절 가능.

Why we do Vacuum Heat Treatment?

The air we breathe contains a number of elements that can react with metals under the proper conditions. Moisture, oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen are present in significant amounts in our atmosphere. Each can react to varying degrees with many different metals. While many of these reactions occur to only a small extent at room temperature, they are often greatly accelerated in the presence of heat. Consider the example of a piece of polished metal held over a heat source. It will eventually turn blue or black as the elements in the atmosphere react with the hot metal. We try to minimize the extent of these reactions during heat treating. The reactions cause changes in the surface properties of the metal that may result in a heat treated component with a surface(edge) that is much harder than the rest of the component. To minimize these undesirable reactions, the source of the reactive elements, air, must be eliminated from the heat treating environment.
